DVD Duplication or Replication?

Why choose Blu-ray Duplication?

Often used when a blu-ray is being duplicated for the first time, blu-ray Duplication is a cost-effective way to manufacture blu-rays without going through the expensive set-up costs that pressing a blu-ray using the blu-ray replication process would bring. By removing the costs of glass mastering (which is required for a pressed blu-ray), blu-ray duplication enables you to manufacture your disc professionally without having to get too large a quantity made. Recommended for quantities of 0-2,000.

Why choose blu-ray replication?

Blu-ray Replication is an industrialised manufacturing process for blu-ray rom's. As an industrial process, blu-ray replication is only economical as a means to manufacture larger quantities of DVDs (i.e. 2,000 units +). The reason for this is that the set up costs of blu-ray replication are very high with all the levies that Sony choose to apply. However, the benefits of a high standard of data authenticity and extremely low unit production costs (at higher quantities) make it highly preferable to duplication. Recommended for quantities of 2,000-1,000,000+.
